This is a new band formed by Messianic music veteran David Martin, whose solo music already graces Chavah, along with a friend of the station, Jonathan, who has contributed in many ways to Chavah over the last year.

In their own words, here’s Aromem:

Aromem is a band comprised of David Martin (leader) and several relatives. All songs so far have been composed by David Martin. Our music aims to strike a combination of the modern contemporary/messianic style with a bit the native American style instruments and rhythm.

Friends, I’m saddened to announce that Messianic musician Aviad Cohen has passed away yesterday, according to a Facebook post from his family. I knew Aviad for many years; he contributed his music to Chavah years ago, and before that, I knew him through my younger brother when the two of them met in person by chance in Jerusalem. Aviad produced 4 albums for God, including 3 techno albums and 1 Scripture reading album: Hooked on the Truth Firestarter Good News to Mission Control Scripturesonics Vol. 1: The Good News Aviad’s last album, Scripturesonics, is a stirring Scripture reading album set to orchestral music. It’s my personal favorite. Aviad made big splashes when he, as a conservative Jew and rapper known as 50 Shekel , came to belief in Yeshua as Israel’s messiah . His public conversion made him a target for anti-missionaries and Jews who considered his belief in Yeshua to be a betrayal of Judaism. At the time of this writing, it's not clear how Aviad died. Shalom friends, I’m glad to report that Chavah Messianic Radio is now in the Windows App Store! If you’re running on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10, you can go here to install Chavah onto your desktop. Ditto for Windows Phones. Once you install, it runs just like a native app: And since it’s a native app, you can pin Chavah to your taskbar: It’ll show up in your Start menu: And of course you can pin it to your start menu: Up next?
