 I received this note from a listener this morning. It was so encouraging to me I thought I'd share:

This is a note to let you know what Chavah means to me. I’m on a six-week regimen with a PICC line, receiving antibiotics through my heart to treat a bone infection. Around three in the morning, I’m lying flat on my back, my arm positioned still to receive the medication, and my phone rests on my stomach playing Chavah. The music is so uplifting and brings such rest. It helps place me in the right position to receive HaShem’s healing and blessing. I also believe it is speaking to the souls of the nurses who care for me. Thank you for your ministry. John C.

Friends, I’m saddened to announce that Messianic musician Aviad Cohen has passed away yesterday, according to a Facebook post from his family. I knew Aviad for many years; he contributed his music to Chavah years ago, and before that, I knew him through my younger brother when the two of them met in person by chance in Jerusalem. Aviad produced 4 albums for God, including 3 techno albums and 1 Scripture reading album: Hooked on the Truth Firestarter Good News to Mission Control Scripturesonics Vol. 1: The Good News Aviad’s last album, Scripturesonics, is a stirring Scripture reading album set to orchestral music. It’s my personal favorite. Aviad made big splashes when he, as a conservative Jew and rapper known as 50 Shekel , came to belief in Yeshua as Israel’s messiah . Q. I don’t see the song request button in Chavah. Where is it? A . It’s the to the left of the play button. Click that button, and then type the name of a song, artist, or album: Click the song you’re looking for, then click the ‘Request’ button: You’re done! Chavah will play the song instantly for you. Other people listening to the station will hear the song request as soon as their current song finishes. (p.s. Don’t like a song that someone requested? Thumb it down. Chavah will play something else for you, and the next time that song is requested, she’ll skip sending it to you.) (p.p.s. Looking for a song, but don’t quite remember the name? This is a great way to find it. Just type anything you do remember about the song, whether album, artist, or name (even if incomplete) and Chavah will do her best to find it for you.)
