Love and Purity is the name of the music group of Brayden & Tali Waller of HaYovel. I’ve worshiped with Brayden & Tali for a few years now over at Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest, and I’ve come to really love this family their beautiful music.
This new album is an a cappella performance, a 3 part harmony vocal set to the Gospel of John. Beautiful stuff for the King!

Your article says this group is part of HaYovel. I have recently read that HaYovel does not support proper spiritual matters that would help Christian or Messianic believers in Israel. Can you tell me the truth?

DeleteI don't know the answer, but I'll tell you what I know.
HaYovel does Godly work to serve Israeli farmers in the land of Israel. They bring Christians, Hebrew Roots folks, Messianic folks to work vineyards to bless the Jewish people. That's a good and holy thing.
I also know some on-the-ground Israelis -- a friend of mine, Aaron Hecht, to name one specifically - who says HaYovel avoids sharing the gospel with Jewish people for risk of offense or hurting the relationship they've built with Jewish religious leaders in Israel. To this end, Aaron tells me HaYovel doesn't align itself with the local believers.
Last year I talked with Brayden Waller face-to-face and asked him about this. I asked, "Do you guys share the Gospel with Jews in Israel?"
He told me he has a heart for evangelism, and pulled out of his back pocket a tract he uses to evangelize. But it still wasn't entirely clear to me whether he evangelizes to Jews in Israel. I suspect the answer is he (and HaYovel as a policy) do not. Feel free to contact them directly; it's probably best to find out the truth directly. I'll add one last thing. There will be times when we disagree theologically with other believers, including musicians on Chavah. I don't believe theological disagreement should prevent us from fellowshipping or worshipping together. I know HaYovel has a heart for Yeshua and a love for the Jewish people. When I've worshipped in person with HaYovel folks, I've seen the sincerity of their worship for the Lord. For me, that is enough to have them on the station.
