Marty Goetz & Misha – L’Dor V’Dor: From Generation to Generation You can purchase this wonderful new album here for an easy $16. Thanks for supporting Messiah’s musicians, friends! I had the pleasure of meeting Marty Goetz last night. I spoke with him and talked to him about Chavah Messianic Radio. He was gracious and said, “How can we get the new album to you to play on the station?” Yours truly with Marty Goetz, taken just last night! I told him I was already a financial backer of the new album via Indiegogo; I should receive the new album soon enough. But another listener, Marty Blume, who has helped Chavah Messianic Radio greatly in the last few months, got the new album on the station just a day prior to all this. Thanks to both Marty’s! For the u...

New music: David Abramsky – Revive the Heart

Image
Shalom friends, New music on Chavah Messianic Radio to sweeten your shabbat: David Abramsky – Revive the Heart David found our station via social media and reached out to us to get his music on the station. I gave it a listen and immediately approved it – it’s an beautiful instrumental work featuring Abramsky’s skillful cello and piano. David describes the album like this: In this CD I've grouped the more upbeat tracks near the beginning, and have let the music gradually relax and soothe as you continue to the final track.  I love layering the cello ("Rachel Weeping for Her Children" has six cellos!) and doing a piano duet with me playing all four hands ("Like A River Glorious")!  A classic Messianic tune, "Awake O Israel", is the focus for a fun arrangement--a departure from my more relaxing material.  Many listeners have emailed asking for some solo cello work so this CD contains a collection of four Jewish melodies, all on solo cello.  There's n...

New music: Zola Levitt with Marty Goetz - Faith in the Fire

Image
Shalom Chavah fans, Some new (old!) music on Chavah: Zola Levitt with Marty Goetz – Faith in the Fire I’m please  The late Zola Levitt, who was a pioneer in the Messianic movement and unveiled the Jewish roots of Messiah faith to many Christians through his books, music, and his television show. He was an advocate for Christians celebrating the Feasts back in the 1970s and 1980s. I think many Christians discovered Hebrew Roots and the Messianic Movement because of him. Faith in the Fire is one of several albums Zola created. This one is unique in that he had the inimitable Marty Goetz carry the vocals. I think you all will enjoy this blast from 1994. While Zola passed away in 2006, his ministry lives on through his wife: Levitt.com , where you can purchase Faith in the Fire and Zola’s other albums.
