New music: Marty Goetz – Psalm Enchanted Evening

Shalom, Messianic music fans.

We’ve added a new album to Chavah Messianic Radio:

Marty Goetz – Psalm Enchanted Evening

You may have heard a few songs from this album on Chavah before; we’ve had 5 of the songs from this album playing on Chavah since the early days.

But now we have the full album, including 16 songs performed live with orchestra. And we’ve updated the existing songs to use the new high-quality audio.

Please support Marty and Jennifer Goetz; years ago they were gracious enough to allow us to play their music on occassion on Chavah Messianic Radio. I know thousands of listeners love Marty’s music; so please show it by purchasing their music. Without us buying their music, no music can be produced, and no service to Messiah can be carried out. You can purchase their music over at MartyGoetz.com.

Aviad Cohen has passed away

Friends, I’m saddened to announce that Messianic musician Aviad Cohen has passed away yesterday, according to a Facebook post from his family. I knew Aviad for many years; he contributed his music to Chavah years ago, and before that, I knew him through my younger brother when the two of them met in person by chance in Jerusalem.Aviad produced 4 albums for God, including 3 techno albums and 1 Scripture reading album:Hooked on the TruthFirestarterGood News to Mission ControlScripturesonics Vol. 1: The Good NewsAviad’s last album, Scripturesonics, is a stirring Scripture reading album set to orchestral music. It’s my personal favorite.Aviad made big splashes when he, as a conservative Jew and rapper known as 50 Shekel, came to belief in Yeshua as Israel’s messiah. His public conversion made him a target for anti-missionaries and Jews who considered his belief in Yeshua to be a betrayal of Judaism. At the time of this writing, it's not clear how Aviad died. One friend says he passed a…

FAQ: How do I request a song?

Q. I don’t see the song request feature in Chavah. Where is it?A. It’s the ‘loudspeaker’ button at the top. Click that button, and then type the name of a song, artist, or album:Click the song you’re looking for, then click the ‘Request’ button:You’re done!Chavah will play the song instantly for you. Other people listening to the station will hear the song request as soon as their current song finishes.(p.s. Don’t like a song that someone requested? Thumb it down. Chavah will play something else for you, and the next time that song is requested, she’ll skip sending it to you.)(p.p.s. Looking for a song, but don’t quite remember the name? This is a great way to find it. Just type anything you do remember about the song, whether album, artist, or name (even if incomplete) and Chavah will do her best to find it for you.)
